Here is a delicious oil-infused dessert that is perfect for the Fall and upcoming holidays & sure to be a hit with your friends and family!
This stuffed apple cheesecake recipe includes Young Living cinnamon bark essential oil that gives it the perfect kick for anyone who loves the flavor and taste of cinnamon. YUMMY! Not only is it delicious but it is a healthy treat as well!!
It can be served after baking (just make sure to let it sit to cool off an hour or two) or refrigerated and served cold.
4-6 Honeycrisp apples
8 oz softened cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1-2 drops Young Living cinnamon bark essential oil
Ingredients for Maple pecan sauce:
1/2 cup maple syrup
3/4 cup whipping cream
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
Hollow the honeycrisp apples (or baking apples of your choice) using a melon baller and set aside on a baking sheet.
In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sugar. Beat on low speed for 1 minute until smooth and free of any lumps. Add the egg, vanilla extract and cinnamon bark essential oil and beat slowly for 1-2 minutes until creamy.
Fill each apple with 2/3 with the cream cheese mixture. Be careful to not fill too high as it will rise inside the apple while baking.
Place in the oven and bake for 30min
While the apples are baking, take a small sauce pan and boil the whipping cream and maple syrup until thick.
Pour a bit of the sauce inside and over the apples once ready to serve and top with some crushed pecans. Enjoy!! 🙂
